Clearing your cookies and cache helps prevent any potential conflicts or outdated data from impacting your testing experience. By ensuring a clean browsing environment, you can provide us with more accurate feedback, allowing us to refine and improve the project efficiently.
Three ways to clear cookies from the browser:
1. Here's a quick guide on how to clear cookies and cache in the Chrome browser:
Open Chrome: Launch the Google Chrome browser on your computer.
Access Settings: Click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the browser window to open the Chrome menu.
Navigate to Settings: From the dropdown menu, select "Settings." Alternatively, you can type chrome://settings/ in the address bar and press Enter.
Expand Advanced Settings: Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page and click on the "Advanced" dropdown to reveal additional options.
Clear Browsing Data: Under the "Privacy and security" section, click on "Clear browsing data".
Choose Time Range: In the pop-up window, choose the time range for which you want to clear browsing data. You can select "All time" to clear all cookies and cache.
Select Data to Clear: Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files." You can also select other types of data you want to clear.
Clear Data: Click on the "Clear data" button to confirm and clear the selected browsing data.
Restart Chrome: Once the process is complete, close and reopen Chrome to apply the changes.
2. Use Incognito Mode:
Open your browser and launch a new incognito window. This mode prevents the browser from storing any browsing history, cookies, or cache data during your session.
3. Use Chrome Extension - Breeze: Website Management Tool:
This extension provides a quick and easy way to clear your browser cache with just one click. It focuses specifically on clearing cached files. While not directly for cache, this extension helps manage cookies in Chrome, allowing you to view, edit, and delete cookies for specific websites.

Here's a quick guide on how to use the Breeze Extension:
Open Chrome on your computer.
At the top right, click on the Breeze icon.
Hover over "Cookies & Cache" and then select the options Cookies, Cache and Local.
In the drop down, you can choose a time range to clear the data. You can select "All time" to delete everything and in the next drop down select the current site address or all site option.
Click on the "Clear" button to confirm and clear the selected browsing data.
